Ziolkowski, Korczak. Near Custer, South Dakota, a gigantic mountain sculpture is now being carved by Korczak Ziolkowski. Crazy Horse Monument, a tribute to the American Indian, is planned as a statue in the round. When completed, it will dwarf the Great Sphinx and will exceed the height of the Pyramid of Gizeh by almost 200 feet. SD Tourism Photo. Neg in Highway files.
